In accordance with Section 13 (1) of the German Telemedia Act (TMG), the provider of a teleservice must notify its users when they start using the service about the nature, scope and purpose of the collection and use of personal data in a generally understandable form. Users must be able to access the content of this notification at all times. Every company is obliged to notify users of what personal data it collects or uses.


HPC AG attaches the greatest importance to the security of its users’ data and to compliance with data protection regulations. The collection, processing and use of personal data are subject to the provisions of prevailing laws and the EU Data Protection Directive. In accordance with Article 4 (1) of the EU-DSGVO (EU-data protection regulations), personal data denotes any information concerning the personal or material circumstances of an identified or identifiable natural person.


Personal circumstances: For example – name, address, e-mail address, date of birth, nationality, profession, medical data, religion, etc. Material circumstances: For example – income, financial situation, property owned, etc.

HPC AG warrants that it will collect, process, store and use users’ data only in connection with handling users’ inquiries and for internal purposes.


Transfer of data to third parties

Data shall not be transferred to third parties without the prior consent of the data subject or without a legal basis.

HPC AG uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service of Google Inc. (“Google”). Google Analytics uses cookies. These are text files that are saved on the user’s computer and enable analysis of the website’s use. The information on  visits to this website generated by the cookie is usually sent to a Google server in the USA and stored there. However, if IP anonymization is activated on this website, the user’s IP address will be abbreviated by Google beforehand within the member states of the European Union or in other countries that are party to the Agreement on the European Economic Area.


Only in exceptional cases is the complete IP address sent to a Google server in the USA and abbreviated there. E-Mail Security

The customer agrees to proceed with electronic communications as soon as they have opened the electronic contact with the HPC AG. The customer should be aware that emails can be read or modified on its unauthorized and unnoticed. HPC AG uses software for filtering undesirable emails (spam filter). This spam filter might reject your emails if they are erroneously identified as spam due to certain characteristics.


Data transfer – SSL encryption

128-bit SSL (AES 128) encryption technology is used on this website. Users’ data is transferred solely in encrypted form. This includes the IP address of the user.


Right to information

In accordance with Article 15 EU-DSGVO, users have the right to be provided free of charge with information on the data stored on them and, if applicable, a right to have this data corrected, blocked or deleted (Art. 5 Abs. 1 d), e), Art. 12 as well as Art. 17-19 EU-DSGVO). Upon request, HPC AG will inform users in writing, in compliance with prevailing law, of what personal data is stored on them at HPC AG. This information is provided free of charge.


Right of objection be users

If users do not wish to have their data actively used by HPC AG for internal purposes, they have the right under Article 21 Abs. 2-4 EU-DSGVO to object to its use and processing at any time. They merely need to send an e-mail to this effect to . In special cases where the law stipulates that data must be blocked instead of being deleted, according to Articles 17–19 EU-DSGVO, shall thereby remain unaffected.


Data transfer and logging for internal system and statistical purposes

For technical reasons, the user’s Internet browser automatically sends data to the web server when this website is accessed. Every data record consists of the date and time of access, the URL of the referring web page, the called file, the quantity of data sent, the browser type and version, the operating system and the IP address of the user. It is not possible for this data to be linked with a specific person. The stored data is only analysed internally and solely for statistical purposes.


Security through technical and organisational measures

In accordance with Article 32 Abs. 1 EU-DSGVO, HPC AG uses technical and organizational measures to protect personal data against accidental or intentional manipulation, loss, destruction or access by unauthorized persons. The security measures used are continuously improved to reflect technological advances.


Protection of minors

Persons who have not yet completed their 16th year  are not allowed to send personal data to HPC AG without the consent of their parent or guardian. Persons who have not yet completed their 16th year  may provide personal information to HPC AG only if their parent or guardian has given their explicit consent or the person has attained their 16th year or is older. This data is processed in accordance with this data protection policy.
