At the same time, the quality awareness of the consumer continues to increase. For the consumer it is natural to have an area-wide, reliable drinking water supply.

When it comes to alimentation, the consumer tends more and more to mineral water. By legislation, this product offered by nature, has been made the only food product requiring official admission. The growing importance of mineral water is underlined by the fact that its annual  consumption per capita has almost quintupled since 1977 to reach about 130 L at present.
