Purchase of the Ingenieurbüro Beckel

Following our strategic considerations also to pursue external growth, should the opportunity arise, we have taken over the Ingenieurbüro Beckel based in Übersee/Chiemsee with effect from 2011-08-01.

Actively pursuing the sale of the company in the course of a subsequent regulation for himself, Mr. Beckel, the sole shareholder of the Ingenieurbüro Beckel considered HPC AG as a potential purchaser.

It took only a few meetings to ascertain that the chemistry is right and that the Ingenieurbüro Beckel geographically and professionally represents a useful extension for the HPC.

Currently Mr. Beckel employs a staff of 10 people, mainly in the fields of road construction, structural engineering, water supply, sewage disposal, hydraulic engineering as well as district heating.

Mr. Beckel will remain with us as an advisor for a period of 1 to 2 years and during this time he will train his successor in the HPC subsidiary in Übersee.

At this point we extend a warm welcome to all employees of the Ingenieurbüro Beckel in the HPC.
