Quality – a noble aim for HPC: new success in certification process
Harburg – In 1994, HPC AG was one of the first engineering companies to deal with the subject of certification according to DIN EN ISO 9001:1994. After a relatively short period of time while involving all relevant domains and staff, HPC was first successfully certified according to DIN EN ISO 9001:1994 on June 27, 1995.
In 2002, the system was converted to comply with the new DIN EN ISO 9001:2000. The conversion introduced PMS, the process oriented management system as well as the environmental management system according to DIN EN ISO 14001:1996. On August 5, 2002, the systems were certified according to the new standard.
From September 30 to October 2, 2008, another audit was carried out for the purpose of recertification by SGS, Société Générale de Surveillance.
In the course of site visits, interviews and review of respective manifests, the efficiency of all operational domains and processes of the management system was evaluated. As a result, HPC AG was awarded the quality and environmental management certificate according to the international quality standard DIN EN ISO 9001:2000 and 14001:2004 for another three years.
We are certainly proud of the successful recertification which reflects the quality of our daily work.
Also in future, we will continue to implement all measures required to control quality in our company so that our clients will benefit from our experience in process improvement and increase of efficiency and service.
