Unfortunately, in the case of contaminated soil or even real estate, mostly you can’t tell just by looking how dangerous it is. True – since the beginning of the 17th century, it’s all water under the bridge of the Havel, directly along the Robert Bosch GmbH site in Berlin’s district of Spandau. For 300 years, ammunition had been produced on the site before Bosch started the production of broad-band cables, car antennae, radio transmitters etc. But also this is all history now – production has been discontinued, the eight-hectares area and its twelve protected buildings have been put up for sale...
