Cars, cars, cars. The assembly line rolls. But just like by an assembly line, all kinds of waste are unfortunately generated. So as concerns one of the world’s largest automotive producers, there’s quite a lot of waste accumulating. What’s to be done? Think big: Ford intends to take a leading role in environmental protection. Globally. But who retain with the task of disposal? Is there anybody who can help us make a choice? Someone who knows the ropes? HPC does.

Is the paint off?
We help FORD find a contractor specialized in the disposal of paint sludges. Not just any contractor. Reliability is important. If something goes wrong during disposal, the client’s reputation could be harmed. Ford cannot risk. We scrutinize all potential disposal contractors: we review all available documents, interview staff and management and examine disposal facilities on site. How is waste handled, is it transshipped beyond borders? We determine its whereabouts and verify the licensing situation in the respective countries. The work is worthwhile. We present a compelling expertise facilitating our client’s decision. The adequate disposal contractor is selected.

Disposal by Maintenance and Service Dealers
The moment in the life of a car will come when it has to be inspected: oil change, new tires, maybe a new exhaust? Again waste is produced: all over the country, in each garage, more than two thousand times. Which disposal contractor is able to master this task and complies with the criteria of FORD? HPC finds out. We advise the client during the selection of a contractor who is able to provide the required logistics and corresponds to the legal claims. One with subcontractors as reliable as himself. A pile of information is gathered. We analyze it and process all data. Now, it’s our client’s turn to decide.

The staff cooperates
Who is to implement the master plan for environmental protection in the garages? The staff, of course. But environmental protection has to be learned. Back to school! HPC elaborates a training concept. All over Germany, FORD maintenance and service dealers may participate in this standardized training program. 

Where can I look it up?
A lot of questions arise: What am I to do with the catalytic converter? Where can I put the waste oil container?
